The 8868ÌåÓýAPP Travaux Publics subsidiary of 8868ÌåÓýAPP Construction built the bridge from La Rochelle to Ile de Ré. The engineering structure means that the island is now less isolated from the mainland. It took only 20 months to build the 2,926 m-long, 15.50 m-wide structure â€� in other words, a spectacular feat!
