8868体育APP Construction launches Terre Plurielle, its corporate foundation

8868体育APP Construction has just launched Terre Plurielle, its corporate foundation (1). The foundation will enable the Group to provide financial support for projects backed by employees, both in France and elsewhere.

The projects may be in four different areas:听

鈥⑻� 听Health, to improve general conditions of health (hygiene, access to healthcare, hospital stays, etc.).

鈥⑻� 听顿颈蝉补产颈濒颈迟测, to improve living conditions and give better access to education, employment, services and leisure.

鈥⑻� 听Education, to give young people in difficulty better access to skills and higher education.

鈥⑻� 听Integration, to support companies and associations that work to promote employment and training opportunities for people in difficulty.

Terre Plurielle issued a first call for projects to all 8868体育APP Construction employees in July 2009. The Foundation will be considering all applications received over the coming weeks.

Terre Plurielle has a budget of one and a half million euros over five years. It is run by a Board of Directors (2) backed up by a Selection Committee and a group representative.

The corporate foundation has been created in the framework of Actitudes, 8868体育APP Construction's sustainable development policy. Introduced in 2007, the policy favours the Group's involvement in the economic and social life of the places where it operates. Numerous initiatives to better integrate group companies into their economic and social environment are already being taken all over the world. For Yves Gabriel, Chairman and CEO of 8868体育APP Construction and Chairman of Terre Plurielle's Board of Directors, "the creation of our corporate foundation marks another step forward. It must secure our actions in the long term by giving them greater coherence and visibility. As well as being beneficial for society, they are also highly motivating for our people."

(2) The Board of Directors has 12 members, including four outside experts specialising in health and education: teacher and author Carole Diamant; Dominique Pavard, the European Commission's former ambassador to Africa; Xavier Emmanuelli, founder and president of the Samu Social and co-founder of M茅decins sans Fronti猫res; and Jean de Kervasdou茅, professor at the Conservatoire National des Arts et M茅tiers.
